Conan The Barbarian gets a UK trailer

*The UK trailer for _Conan The Barbarian_ has been released online.*

Though it dumps the horrible rock soundtrack that plagued most of
_Conan_’s other trailers, it still looks like a cheesy romp in
the same vein as the _Mummy_ movies.

Jason Momoa plays Conan, whose father was slain by Stephen
Lang’s bloodthirsty warlord, and who swears vengeance on the
tyrant.

Cue some impressive CGI vistas, lots of snarling and sword-wielding,
and Lang on particularly menacing form as a big, bald baddie.

Like the other _Conan_ trailers that have been released so far, this
one makes the film look like it could be something of a guilty
pleasure.

And after the likes of _Clash Of The Titans_ and _Prince Of Persia_,
we're in desperate need of a decent sandy epic.

So long as _Conan_ doesn’t turn into _The Scorpion King_, we'll
be happy.

my bambi blu ray copy has a problem maybe?

i was watching this movie and when bambi awakes and its winter
and when he looks towards the snow my blu ray copy has like a little
hiccup .what i mean is it shows bambi looking and then for a split
second the entrance of their home then back to bambi and the movies
continues playing perfectly is this a problem with my disc or my
player cause i've exchanged it for another copy and it still does it
someone please help

Semantics - the #1 aphrodisiac? Why do you even comment?

It seems that many of those who choose to "help out" on this forum get
off by laying down the "line" between "classical music" and that which
isn't. An interesting flame war was also recently set off by animosity
from one party towards another concerning what is and is not
"classical", resulting in appalling behavior from both sides.

I've asked the question before - what constitutes "classical"? - and
didn't get a truly clear answer because, well, there is clearly no
clear answer. Clearly.

Frankly I do get hotheaded at times over this and I do not apologize
for it - it's ridiculous that people here are essentially telling
others to fuck off because they don't consider Pachelbel's Canon in D
highbrow enough to be considered classical music. It seems that all
you want to do here is discuss the smell of each other's farts (mmm,
yes, that one had beefy overtones with a hint of sage, roasted garlic,
and oh yeah, shit) and, every once in a while, inform an innocent
inquirer that, "no, Yiruma is not classical enough for my taste".

My question, if it really makes a difference to ask it, is why do you
even bother posting here if you're not actually willing to help
others? Or start actual discussion about new music that pushes the
boundaries, or music on the fringes that crosses over to different
genres, different media, and different cultures? Because isn't that
how "classical music" gets better?
